Review - AL LOWRY

Having read his books, it does not appear that there is enough useful info to actually put into practice, so you would have to buy into his very expensive mentoring.
COACH QUALITY:While his site and spiel do not get into who provides his "coaching", it appears that
previous coaching was farmed out to a company like "Mentoring of America",
which offers coaching of dubious quality where the coaches are nothing more than telephone operators.
Customers have reported having paid up to $25,000 for what they considered worthless
information and support.
If coaching is important to you, the only
course worth considering is Bill Vaughn's course, "The Simple Man's Guide
to Real Estate" which provides professional coaching at no cost, as it is offered by a non-profit so the price cannot be beat.
SUCCESS RATE: Unknown. But considering Mr Lowry filed bankruptcy in 1987, we have to question how successful anyone could be by following his advice.
BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU RATING: The BBB gives Al Lowry and his National Investors Association a rating of "F" - the lowest rating they have.
COMMENTS: This post from an unhappy customer says a lot, if true. "According to the FBI and Secret Service, referred to us by
an FTC
attorney and US attorney in Dover, DE, we were told that Lowry and Allen are the newest criminals
that are costing all persons who buy his real estate programs to lose, as several websites have
reported, victims have lost from $25,000 to $50,000, like my wife and I have.

COMPLETENESS: Al Lowry has been missing in action until recently. His first book was pretty good, many years ago. Now it appears he has recently decided to jump onto the "Foreclosures Seminar"
wagon with a rehash of foreclosure information. His website provides little info, and appears to
still be under construction - since May of 2010! But what little info is available indicates his main plug is on foreclosures, with a handful of other strategies included.
With 22 strategies of real estate investing, a half dozen strategies is not enough, because economic conditions are forever changing, as we recently discovered.

"I am from British Columbia Canada I just found out from the Vancouver Police about this lawsuit against the scammer Dr.Lowry .I have $10,500 dollars of mine in Al Lowry's pocket and received nothing in return.I probably deserve it for being so stupid for listening to a guy with a bad hair piece,but on the same token he had a pretty good sales spiel . I am also curious on ,how could I submit a deposition or statement on this losers behalf to dig him a bigger grave .Is there a chance I could be involved in this class action lawsuit since me and about 2000 more are in the same boat in the Vancouver area. The Vancouver Trade and Convention Center is where Dr.Lowry performed his scam of the century ,he's made quite the negative image of himself there .I believe many more people will come forward to this person and be adding much more to his case against him.I witnessed 2000 people whip out their credit card and without hesitation drop $1600 dollars within 20 minutes .This is just a little more money than what is taking place here . Where do we go from here ? My blood has been boiling for quite sometime over this person "
